Birch Whitespire
(Zone 4) This birch with its ruffled white bark and lovely pyramidal shape has shiny green foliage. Autumn color is yellow. Whitespire has been noted for its resistance to the bronze birch borer. A superior substitute for white birch. Very hardy.
