Clethra Summersweet Hummingbird
(Zone 4) Compact ornamental shrub that grows unendingly wide by rhizomes. Flowering lasts through summer complemented by lustrous black green leaves. A delightful three season plant tickling all the senses. Aromatic flowers make it a good plant for home gardens. Winter hardy and tolerates heavy shade and moist sites.
