Hydrangea quercifolia
Hydrangea Oakleaf
(Zone 5) An upright and rounded hydrangea. Large white panicles of flowers are persistant over winter. Leaves are the shape of red oak and turn reddish purple in autumn. Adaptable to shade and drought. Showy exfoliating bark. Native to southeast US.
